SuRie is a Singer-Songwriter, Actor, Composer and Musical Director and graduated from The Royal Academy of Music.

TV appearances include: The Graham Norton Show, This Morning, Celebrity Pointless, Celebrity Bargain Hunt, Saturday Kitchen and radio features such as Ken Bruce's Tracks of My Years on BBC Radio 2.
Theatre credits include: Originating the role of Eve in the London premiere of Arthur Miller’s Up From Paradise, Annie Get Your Gun, Little Women, Streets (as Musical Director), Another Way (as Musical Director), and The Last 5 Years, where SuRie is currently starring as Cathy Hiatt on the International Tour.
Alongside regular appearances in smaller concert venues SuRie has performed to arena crowds across the world. SuRie’s performance in Lisbon's Altice Arena was broadcast to 180 million worldwide when representing the UK at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest.
With a passion for truthful, musical storytelling and soundscapes, recent releases include Rye, inspired by the Robert Burns poem Comin’ Thro’ The Rye. SuRie enjoys creating sonic worlds that are spun from texts penned by luminaries of British prose and poetry and moulding works into her own musical language. Collaborations include with spoken word artist Sara Hirsch (These Streets Do Not Belong To Us), photographer Suzie Larke (Unseen) and playwright Rekha John-Cheriyan (Empty). SuRie’s third studio album Building A Woman was released in May 2023, followed by a string of live dates across the UK, with new show Cover / Me.
SuRie was also awarded an Associateship to The Royal Academy of Music, an honour given for significant contributions to the music profession.
